Lock Athletic Apparel Corporation (“LAAP”) respects the privacy of all website visitors. We use the personal information you share with us to make our products and services, and your experience even better. The purpose of this policy is to alert users of the ways that the site collects, processes and protects your information, and your options. It also outlines what personal information we collect when you visit our websites, or when you use our mobile apps, how we use your personal information, and the third parties we will share it with. We are open about the personal information we collect and have implemented mechanisms to enable you to exercise any rights you might have with respect to your personal information.
1.Type of INFORMATION and purpose
a. If you sign up for an LAAP account, which allows you to use the same sign in details anywhere in the world, we will ask for your name, e-mail address, date of birth (optional) and password. We may also collect the following information when you sign up for an account if you choose to provide it: telephone number, gender, personal preferences, social identifier if you choose to log in to your account via social media, and age or date of birth. Also, when you purchase something from our site, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, date of birth and/or confirmation that you are above a certain age, home address and email address. When you browse our site, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.
b. The personal information we collect when you create your first sign in/account will be used for identification and authentication purposes across LAAP services, so you can use the same account details to log in from any location and on any device. The global single sign on will allow LAAP systems to identify you wherever you are in the world, meaning you will not need to register with us again if you are signing in from a different country. We also use your information to assess your creditworthiness and to prevent fraud. Further, we will build a profile for you to assist us improve our products and services for you, and to provide you with better customer care.
c. The data we collect will enable us to learn more about our customers and their preferences to enable us to create new and better products; to enhance user experience on our website; provide information, content and offerings tailored to our customers and their needs; to display online ads to you; to monitor performance of our products and services; and to help us improve our technology.
2. CONSENT
a. When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, you agree that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.
b. We will ask for your consent if we wish to use your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent or provide you with an opportunity to decline. c. We do not knowingly or intentionally collect, maintain or use personal information from children under 18 years age of age and no part of the service is directed to children under the age of 18. For this reason, it is important for parents and guardians to check on and monitor their children’s Internet usage in order to protect them. If you learn that your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, you may alert us at the contact information listed below. If we learn that we have collected any personal information from children under 16, we will promptly take steps to delete such information and terminate the child's account, unless we are required by applicable law to keep it. 3.DISCLOSURE
a. We may disclose your personal information if we are required to do so by law or if you violate our Terms and Conditions, or with your consent.
b. If our company is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you.
4.SHOPIFY
a. Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
b. Payment: If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
c. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers. 5.THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
a. In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us. However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions. 6.SECURITY

Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, to protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions through appropriate technical and organisations security measures to protect it from being inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.
b. If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption., we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.
7.COOKIES
a. LAAP uses cookies primarily to ensure your visit to our website is as pleasant as possible, as well as for advertising-related purposes during your future visits to other websites. The most important cookies are the required cookies. They are essential and help you to navigate on the website and to use basic features, such as media plugins. Then there are functionality cookies that enable you to save your shopping bag, create a wish list and to save your shipping details for a quicker checkout. The performance and analytics cookies we use to improve our website. We also like to show you relevant offers. To manage this we collect browsing data, which may be linked to a unique identifier to allow us to understand how you interact with LAAP across different platforms. Interaction cookies are used for you to interact with social media or to submit reviews. Targeting cookies, advertising cookies and social media cookies capture your preferences in order to show you relevant ads outside LAAP sites.
